CONSUMER WELFARE PROGRAMME
Consumer Awareness Seminar was organized to make public Aware of the rights available under the consumer protection Act, 1986. The programmers were appreciated by the Attendants. It is generally found that the consumers, despite of playing low prices are offered low quality by the companies.
Though the products are packed in very attractive packages but. Their quality happens to be very low. This way consumer gets cheated every day by the producers and sellers. This situation is not too different in the cases of services also. The consumer protection Act, 1986 and the Rules and producers for filling the suit way and manner of filling the appeals. Further they were given names and addresses of different consumer associates whom they can contact in cases of need.
TRIBAL WELFARE PROGRAMME
Despite of passing of so many years after the independence-scheduled caste scheduled tribes and minorities have yet been associated in the main stream of the society. They still need a lot of support a not only from the Government but it also from the society and NGO’S. Understand its responsibility the society has organized a number of progresses targeted at the welfare of the Tribes. This includes imparting non-tonal education in the areas of Tribe’s, providing them technical and financial help in setting up their own business and pursuing higher studies
WOMEN WELFARE PROGRAMME
An awareness generation programme aimed at making women aware about their health needs and nutrition was organized by the society. This programme was organized by the rural women in large number and it was felt by the attendant that kind of programmers was organized are very useful in the villages where women were awareness about their health need at a very low cost Further they informed about various kinds of schemes formed and executed.
The women particular in the programme were informed about need for education and agreed to send their children particularly the girl child to school Further it was resolved that the society will Further organize similar programmer in the near future.
VOCATIONAL & HANDICRAFT TRAINING PROGRAMME
Keeping in the mind the objective of removal of poverty by reducing the problem of employment the society has been instrumental in taking various concrete steps in the direction of removal of poverty. Society has started a vocational training programme in these training programme women and youth are provided training in different filed like knitting & tailoring.
Chicken embroidery, Readymade Garment , food processing, fashion Designing etc. by experienced trainers. In this center trainers are provided training in filed is to make the trainees so skilled that they may become self-dependent and stand on their own
feet.
ROAD SAFTEY PROGRAMME
The member of society organized a programme on road safety. The main aim of this programme was too aware the public by the rules of the roads and the benefit of these rules. The public appreciated the programme very much.
WELFARE PROGRAMME FOR TRANSGENDER PERSONS
The member of society organized Welfare programme for Transgender person on 20 November. Medicine, fruits, cloths and many other things were distributed among Transgender. The volunteers also started primary educational programme. Books and other educational material was also distributed free of cost among the Transgender.
AGRICULTURE, HORTICULTURAL & FOOD PROCESSING TRAINING PROGRAMME
Considering the availability of raw materials in plenty the society organized a training camp on scope in the food processing industry. The camp was attended by many youth some of these youth have started their own food processing units and are earning their livelihood. In this programme the member of the society has told about new techniques of horticulture and advantage of these techniques. A seminar was organized by the society on food processing industry.
SELF HELP GROUP AWARENESS PROGRAMME
Society organized a meeting for self-help group. The main aim of this meeting was to told the responsibilities to the members of the group and how can they become able to integrated the people of the society and were always ready to solve the problems. The members appreciated this programme very much, Therefore the meeting was terminated with vote of thanks to chair.
